Skid plate is installed! 8 days until the first event. I'm nervous, but incredibly excited. The car has survived multiple days of commuting into Seattle, so a little rallycross is going to be child's play.

I really enjoy these updates. Fatherhood had precluded any track days for me, so watching racing and reading about other's adventures is all I got. I'm really good at changing diapers though.

How old? My daughter turns one this month, so my time is pretty limited, but way more open than 6 months ago. She goes to sleep around 6:30, so if I have the energy, I have the time to go out to the garage and work. When there’s a race, I’m #blessed because my wife will make a vacation out of it and help find a cabin to stay at.
Haven’t had a track day this year, though, because they usually require taking time off work, and that’s all been used up.

They (twins) just turned one as well. It's just too much work for one after a week of work.

Oh, twins... That must be at least 4 times harder than one baby. Twice the odds that you'll have a kid interested in cars, though!

They already pl ay with hot wheels, make car sounds when driving them and one is glued to my screen when I watch any car related stuff, especially wrc.
